YouTube Video Editor

We’re looking to add an editor to our team with some serious chops in both Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Do you love to bring fresh ideas to the table and push projects from good to great? Are you bursting with ideas and tired of basic, boring editing jobs? We want to talk to you!

Ideal candidates will take content and run with it with basic initial guidance. We’re looking for editors that are quick and efficient and thrive on fast-turnarounds. They should also like collaborating with a small team from time to time and do equally well with direction when given. We want outside-the-box thinkers with a good sense of humor who aren’t afraid to get in Photoshop or After Effects and get their hands dirty (so to speak!) if the result is funny on-screen gags or simple animations.

Possible tasks include:
-- Basic video editing
-- Basic sound editing
-- Creation of new assets and transitional elements in Photoshop or Illustrator
-- Photo-manipulation for on-screen assets in Photoshop
-- Simple After Effects or Premiere animations of assets from time to time
-- Layered effects (possibly utilizing simple masks)
-- Basic rotoscoping from time to time

A bit about us: we run a number of Disney content-based YouTube channels that each put out at least 4-5 videos a week. We’re looking to generate at least two videos around 10 minutes in length per week with ample opportunity for more work if things go well!

Candidate can be located anywhere as this is a work-from-home, 1099 Contractor position.
