Creator, Writer, YouTube Presenter – Full Time

We are looking to bring another Disney-loving content creator to our team. We are a fun, collaborative, dedicated, hard-working group.

You will be working with a virtual newsroom where flexibility is key. You must be reliably available to go into the Disney World parks and resorts as needed and provide quick turnaround. You will be creating written, photographic, social media, and video content of all types both as part of a team and solo. You will also be doing food reviews. Awareness of your audience will be critical. You must have the ability to produce large amounts of content quickly while maintaining high attention to detail. Work-required food and merchandise purchases can be expensed.

You must have strong communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to collaborate with a creative team. You will be developing fun, informative, and useful content based on news, research, and best practices relating to the Disney parks. This role will require limited on-screen opportunities, but primary responsibilities will be as part of a creative team curating footage, written and visual content to move the project forward.

Primary Tasks:
--Develop a deep understanding of company values and personality, and effectively represent our brands on YouTube and in consumer-facing media channels.
--Develop and produce Disney- and travel-themed content (written articles, photography, and videos)
--Identify and create informative and entertaining stories in the theme park and travel spheres
--Be able to quickly create content – written content, social media posts, and short-form video – to disseminate stories
--Work closely with other Orlando-based and global team members, collaborating on content production
--Identify opportunities to improve the production process, and expand the reach of Cambrick Yard video content
--Plan, participate in, and host shows
--Write and sometimes memorize scripts
--Ability to improvise with fun and humor that’s on-brand and family-friendly

Working hours:
Pre-show preparation, such as meetings with the producer, researching, writing scripts, rehearsing and post-show review, which includes discussing the broadcast with the producer and beginning advance planning for the next show, all add to the working day. Hours may involve early mornings, evenings, or weekends. When you’re not planning, prepping, recording, and promoting shows, you’ll be creating content in and around the Disney Theme Parks.
